A&F hand cuts, rolls, welds and sands their shells and raw brass hoops, hand-cut bearing edges and snare beds, and treat everything with their exclusive patina formula to jump-start the aging process. Then they add two rows of their patented raw brass lugs, hardware and Remo Ambassador heads. These snares weigh about 20–25 pounds depending on size of the drum.
