Built with a mahogany body and topped with a striking figured burl, this 5-string bass commands attention both visually and sonically. The C-5 Standard is built for players who need the extra range and punch that comes with a 35” scale length, making it ideal for extended range playing in any genre, from rock to jazz. Schecter’s reputation for creating reliable, high-performance instruments shines through in every aspect of this bass.

Built for Comfort and Playability
The C-5 Standard features a roasted maple neck paired with a rosewood fingerboard, offering a smooth and comfortable playing experience. The thin C neck shape makes navigating the 24 jumbo frets easy, while the 16” fingerboard radius ensures that playing fast runs or complex chord shapes feels natural. The longer 35” scale length enhances string tension for tight, punchy lows that cut through any mix, making this bass a perfect fit for players who demand precision and clarity in the low end.

Versatile Tone With Schecter Signature Pickups
Equipped with Schecter Diamond Standard soapbar pickups in both the bridge and neck positions, the C-5 Standard provides a wide tonal palette to explore. These pickups are known for their clarity and balance, giving you everything from deep, warm lows to crisp, articulate highs. Each pickup has its own independent volume and tone controls, allowing you to dial in the perfect sound for any playing style. Whether you’re holding down the groove or taking a solo, the C-5 Standard delivers the flexibility to craft your unique tone.
