Dial In Your Tone With the 2-Band Active Preamp

The StingRay Classic bass features a 9-volt powered 2-band active preamp, giving you independent control over low end and high end. Boost the bass for a thick, booming bottom end or cut it to tighten up and focus your low-mids. Turn up the treble control to add bite and definition to your high notes. With the active preamp, you can shape your tone to perfection for any style of music. And with 18 volts of power running to the humbucker pickup, you'll have all the volume you need to be heard.

Powerful Ceramic Humbucker Pickup

This StingRay Classic bass uses a single ceramic humbucker pickup that produces the bold, aggressive tone the StingRay is known for. From punchy mids to snarling treble, the humbucker pickup delivers the goods across the tonal spectrum. With 18 volts of power supplied by the active preamp, the ceramic pickup outputs massive levels of volume so you can truly make your presence known. Whether you need to cut through a mix or shake the rafters with thunderous low end, the StingRay Classic RAY24CA brings iconic StingRay tone in an affordable package.

Comfortable Playing With the 38mm Nut Width

This StingRay Classic bass has a nut width of 38mm, slightly narrower than the standard StingRay. The narrower string spacing makes fast playing and wide stretches easier for many bassists. The smooth satin finish on the back of the hard maple neck lets your hand glide up and down effortlessly. Combined with the comfortable medium jumbo frets, you'll find this bass a joy to play even during long gigs.

The Iconic StingRay Body Style

The StingRay Classic RAY24CA features the iconic flat slab body design found on the original StingRay basses. The lightweight nyatoh body contributes to the vintage StingRay vibe while providing rich, resonant tones. The sleek contours and beveled edges sit comfortably against your body. And the Olympic white finish with matching tortoise pickguard gives this bass an instantly recognizable look. Every time you strap on your StingRay Classic, you'll feel connected to an iconic instrument that shaped the sound of modern music.
