DW's legendary 5000 Series Double Pedal gives drummers the speed, power and customization to achieve their full potential. The 5002AD4 model features DW's innovative Accelerator Drive system which creates an indirect relationship between the sprocket and footboard for blistering velocity and pinpoint sensitivity.
Accelerator Drive System Fuels Unparalleled Speed
The 5002AD4's Accelerator Drive sprocket utilizes an eccentric motion to shorten the pedal's stroke length, enabling drummers to build momentum and achieve speeds previously unimaginable. The sprocket's dual-chain design also provides a perfectly balanced feel for seamless transitions between single and double strokes.
Tri-Pivot Toe Clamp Offers Ultimate Comfort
DW's patented Tri-Pivot Toe Clamp utilizes three pivot points to keep the foot securely in place while allowing the ankle to move freely. Its rubberized clamp provides non-slip traction and all-day comfort for drummers of all styles.
Components Built to Last a Lifetime
From the Delta II ball bearing hinge to the aluminum hex shafts, pedal plates and linkages, the 5002AD4 is constructed from premium materials chosen for their durability and performance. Its dual side adjusting hoop clamp, 101 two-way beater and built-in spurs provide further customization to suit any player's preferences.
Choose Between Two High-Performance Drive Systems
In addition to the Accelerator Drive, the 5002AD4 is also available with DW's Turbo Drive system which maintains a direct relationship between the sprocket and footboard for a solid, powerful feel. Either choice provides a pedal that will stand up to the most intense playing styles for years to come.
