The MEINL Classics Custom Dark effects pack provides an array of distinctive cymbals to create unique accents and a wide range of sounds. Included are a 14" Dark trash crash, 18" Dark China and 10" Dark splash, as well as an 8" brilliant bell at no extra cost. With a sinister blackened finish and earthy hammered texture, these professional-level B10 bronze cymbals produce powerful, trashy tones suited for any genre.
Complex, Trashy Accents
The 14" Dark trash crash delivers unique trashy accents and functions as an intriguing crash-ride, filling space with a sinister wash of sound. Its size also makes it ideal for stacking or using as a hi-hat top. The 10" Dark splash provides fast, punchy accents with complex overtones and quick decay, perfect for spicing up fills.
Dark, Heavy Sustain
The 18" Dark China follows a bright attack with intense, dark sustain without harsh overtones. It's a top choice for heavy music, but versatile for any genre. The sustain lasts as long as you need, decaying naturally into your playing.
Free Brilliant Bell
The included 8" brilliant bell delivers a sharp, cutting tone with stable sustain, ideal for heavy bell-riding effects. Invert it over a ride cymbal and it provides rhythmic bell accents that pierce through the mix. Its small size makes it highly responsive, giving you precise control over bell tones.
Built to Last
The blackened finish is part of the cymbal-making process, not just a coating so these cymbals retain their appearance over a lifetime of playing. They are also hammered by hand, giving an earthy, organic quality to the tone. With the Classics Custom Dark effects pack, you get a set of cymbals as sinister in sound as they are in looks, ready to unleash a world of dark musicality.
