The Premier Genista Heritage birch 3-piece shell pack delivers the distinctive tone and aesthetic of a classic drum kit. Inspired by Premier's original Genista series, this shell pack features powerful, focused tone, with sizes that provide a versatile setup for easy gigging and recording. Marrying timeless style with well-rounded birch sound, the Premier Genista Heritage shell pack lets you forge a bold style all your own.
Premium Birch Shells Produce Bold Tone
At the heart of the Genista Heritage shell pack are all-birch shells that provide an aggressive attack, short sustain and clear, precise tone. The rack toms feature 7-ply, 5.6 mm shells while the bass drum has a 9-ply, 7.2 mm shell for greater volume and low-end punch. The shells are undersized by 6mm for easier tuning and projection. Precision 45-degree bearing edges optimize shell resonance and tuning range. The result is a focused, hard-hitting tone perfectly suited for styles from jazz to hard rock.
Iconic Tension Lugs Enhance Sound and Aesthetic
The Genista Heritage shell pack revives Premier's original die-cast tension lug design, a hallmark of the classic Genista series. The oversized lugs are retooled from the original factory specifications to maximize tone and authenticity. Each lug attaches to its shell using an isolating mount that helps prevent unwanted overtones. Visually striking, the lugs also give the Genista Heritage a bold, retro appearance that turns heads. They're a nod to Premier's drum-making heritage and a reminder of the brand's pursuit of uncompromising tone.
Complete and Gig-Ready
The Genista Heritage 3-piece shell pack includes everything you need to start gigging and recording. It features a 18x14" kick drum, 12x8" rack tom and 14x14" floor tom. 2.3 mm triple-flange steel hoops provide durability and eliminate unwanted overtones. The kick drum includes lacquered hoops and die-cast claw hooks for a classic look. Remo UT drum heads provide a warm, balanced tone. A mount for your rack tom is included for quick, stable setups. With premium all-birch shells, iconic lugs and a versatile 3-piece setup, the Genista Heritage shell pack delivers a bold sound, iconic style and performance-ready design.
