Roland's VH-14D Digital 14" Hi-Hat Cymbal Pad brings electronic drumming to new expressive heights. This innovative two-piece cymbal pad provides the natural feel, dynamic response and tonal control of acoustic hi-hats. The VH-14D is a breakthrough product for drummers seeking an electronic kit that plays like the real thing.
14" Digital Hi-Hat Cymbal Pad for Natural Playability and Response
With a familiar 14" size and feel, the VH-14D's digital pads encourage authentic hi-hat technique. They detect the subtlest gestures, from light taps and shimmers to rapid-fire foot splashes. Choking the cymbals or muting them with a touch of the hand produces accurate results. The VH-14D's high resolution and wide dynamic range capture every nuance with stunning realism.
Multi-Sensor System Captures Nuance and Detail
The VH-14D's advanced multi-sensor system tracks stick position, velocity and footwork with extraordinary precision. Three bow sensors, edge sensor, motion sensor and touch sensor work together to detect the hi-hat's status and translate playing nuance into digital data with breathtaking speed and detail. The result is a hi-hat pad that responds like a living, breathing instrument.
Compatible with Roland V-Drums Sound Modules for Optimal Experience
For the full power of the VH-14D, use it with a Roland TD-50 or TD-50X V-Drums sound module. These modules provide newly optimized sounds that take full advantage of the VH-14D's capabilities. The TD-27 module also supports the VH-14D and includes a free system update with enhanced detection features.
Rugged and Roadworthy
Despite its advanced electronic capabilities, the VH-14D is built to handle the demands of live performance and touring. Its low-profile pads are made of durable rubber and mount to any standard hi-hat stand for convenient setup and transport. A 6-foot connection cable and all necessary mounting hardware are included (stand not included).
