The frequency-reduced SABIAN FRX Chinese cymbal offers just the right amount of trash and attack to be heard, while never getting in the way of other live mics on the stage. Perfect for smaller cafe gigs, houses of worship and places where controlling dynamics is key, this cymbal delivers the blistering heat of a China while sitting just right in the mix.
SABIAN created the FRX cymbal line for those gigs when traditional cymbals are too much, but the drummer still wants the full effect of each accent. FRX cymbals are not low-volume practice models — this is a professional line crafted with B20 bronze, offering complex and versatile tone that works well in more sensitive environments.
