The HHX Complex Medium Ride's thin, dark profile and medium bell provide focused attack, smooth wash and a clearly defined "ping" that cuts through the mix. Crossing genres with ease, this cymbal inspires drummers to explore new rhythmic possibilities. Crafted from musically expressive B20 bronze, the HHX Complex Medium Ride delivers the darkness, warmth and tonal complexity drummers have come to expect from Sabian's innovative HHX series.
Proprietary Hammering Techniques Yield Maximum Tonal Control
The HHX Complex Medium Ride benefits from Sabian's trickle-down technology, gleaned from years crafting acclaimed cymbal lines like Evolution, Legacy and Artisan. Combining techniques from Sabian's popular HH and HHX lines, the HHX Complex Medium Ride gives drummers greater command over tone and texture. The cymbal's thin, hand-hammered profile and raw bell provide focused attack and wash, while a medium-size bell brings out low-end complexity with a clear "ping.
Versatility to Cross Genres
A hallmark of Sabian's HHX series, the HHX Complex Medium Ride readily crosses musical boundaries. Its dynamic range suits virtually any genre, from rock and metal to jazz, funk and fusion. Drummers can ride lightly for a subtle, sloshy wash or dig into the cymbal for more definition. The HHX Complex Medium Ride inspires drummers to explore new rhythmic possibilities in any style.
