The Simmons Titan 70 electronic drum kit provides an unparalleled combination of premium drum pads, high-definition sounds and wireless connectivity for editing and playback. Powered by Simmons' Variable Attack Response technology, the Titan 70 generates full, nuanced drum tones with realistic ambience. The set includes a large 10" dual-zone snare with rimshot detection, four 8" dual-zone toms and a 12" three-zone ride cymbal.
Mesh Pads Provide an Authentic Feel
The Titan 70's mesh drum pads are highly responsive, providing rebound and articulation that mimics an acoustic kit. The snare in particular delivers a satisfying "pop" with rimshots and cross-sticking. The low-profile tom rims and triple-zone ride cymbal also detect different strike locations, allowing for more expressive playing.
Comprehensive Sound Library and Editing Tools
With over 300 drum sounds and 75 presets, the Titan 70 has tones for any musical style. You can also customize kits using the free Simmons Drum 2 mobile app, which provides an intuitive interface for editing parameters like pitch, pan and reverb. Connect the module to your computer via USB or Bluetooth MIDI to use the sounds and kits in music production software.
Practice Features for Improving Your Technique
The Titan 70 includes useful tools for honing your chops. Connect your mobile device via Bluetooth audio to stream songs from your music library, then play along using the drum module. You can also use the app to set tempo, metronome and loop functions to build speed and consistency.
Rugged Steel Rack and Powerful Amp
The Titan 70's sturdy steel rack keeps all components securely in place during intense playing. It also includes a detachable shelf to hold a tablet for easy viewing. Pair the electronic drum kit with the Simmons DA2108 amp for full, balanced sound. The amp provides 100W of power, stereo line inputs and a two-band EQ to customize your tone.
