The Toca Custom Deluxe Matte Finish congas give hand percussion a sophisticated twist. These congas reimagine the classic design with a sleek, modern aesthetic that fits as well on stage as in your home. Constructed from durable, lightweight materials, the Custom Deluxe Matte Finish Congas produce warm, resonant tones that bring your rhythms to life.

A Fresh Take on Traditional Style

Unlike the typical glossy congas, the Custom Deluxe Matte Finish has an understated matte coat in bold blue or gray. When the light hits the drums, the matte finish radiates hints of red, purple or black for a multi-dimensional look. This unique style choice gives the classic conga shape a contemporary vibe suited for drummers focused on crafting modern sounds. The matte coat is durable and scuff-resistant, keeping your congas looking their best gig after gig.

High-Quality Build for Superior Sound

Beneath their stylish exterior, the Custom Deluxe congas are built to perform. Crafted from 2-ply Asian Oak with reinforcing rings, these drums produce deep, resonant tones that carry. The plywood construction is lightweight yet road-ready, giving you instruments you can play for hours without fatigue. Chrome-plated hardware and top-grade natural bison heads complete the high-quality build, resulting in congas with professional-level sound and durability.

All the Versatility You Need

With these congas, you can create a variety of rhythms in many styles. The Custom Deluxe Matte Finish Congas have a versatile tuning range for tones from high to low. Play them on their own for solo practice and composition or add them to your existing set-up. These congas' contemporary style and traditional sound make them a great choice for drummers interested in Latin, Afro-Cuban, Salsa, Soca, Reggae, or World Music. Overall, the Toca Custom Deluxe Matte Finish Congas give you a fresh take on a hand percussion classic with the quality to match their bold look.
