Versatile and dynamic, the A Custom series caters to any style, from hard rock to jazz fusion.

Thin Hammered B20 Alloy for Maximum Resonance

Zildjian uses a proprietary tin-rich B20 bronze alloy and thin weights to give A Custom cymbals a fast, responsive attack with rich overtones. Radical rotary hammering techniques further enhance resonance for cymbals that open up easily and sing with glassy highs and warm lows. The 14" hi-hats provide tight, controlled "chick" sounds when closed and open up for riding patterns, while the 16" and 18" crashes offer smooth, shimmering tones with a quick decay. The 20" ride cymbal features a balanced sound with clear stick definition and wash.

Brilliant Finish and Modern Profiles

A Custom cymbals feature a brilliant, reflective finish and lowered profiles for a sophisticated look and sound. The thin, responsive nature of the cymbals complements the modern profiles, allowing the cymbals to flex and resonate freely. The visual appeal of the brilliant finish is matched only by the crisp, articulated tones of the cymbals.

The Perfect Balance of Warmth and Cut

Celebrating over 20 years of production, the A Custom series represents Zildjian's pursuit of the ideal cymbal sound. Blending modern hammering techniques with a time-tested alloy, these cymbals achieve a balance of warmth, sustain and cut that appeals to drummers of all styles. The A Custom Cymbal Pack brings this sought-after combination of sounds together in one complete set.
