The Zildjian K Paper Thin cymbals are explosive, dark crashes with a big attack for even the most demanding players. Zildjian has been crafting musical instruments for over 400 years and has been the leader in high-quality cymbal innovation, making them one of the most trusted cymbal manufacturer for drummers worldwide. In the early 1950s, they began producing the Paper Thin cymbals, and now Zildjian has finally answered the requests of loyal customers to bring this weight class back. Now available in the legendary K Family, these crash cymbals come in 18", 19", 20", 21" and 22" for all of your Paper Thin needs.

Iconic Quality for Nuanced Playing

After reviewing cymbal trends of the past 70 years, Zildjian reimagined a main feature with these Paper Thins, the three-step hammering process, which is an essential part in giving these cymbals a lush, rich sonic character while providing a more versatile flexibility. Their extra-thin profile gives these crash cymbals a beautiful shimmer with a quick response and a resonant low end for maximum sustain. With a smooth feeling under-stick and a fast decay, the Paper Thins will make you want to play for hours.

Legendary Craftsmanship for Long-Lasting Durability

Despite how thin these cymbals are, they still have a substantial weight to them that helps to give a more full, rounded sound. Delivering a tight punch than blooming out to a vibrant high end with articulate bell sounds and a warm timbre, the musical possibilities of these crashes are endless. The K Paper Thin crash cymbals have a versatility that makes them excellent options for a wide variety of music genres, and with their resonant low end, shimmering bells and full sustain these are the perfect addition for any drummer.
