Alder Body With Striking Spider Artwork

The KH-3 Spider's alder body delivers a balanced, resonant tone with tight lows, punchy mids and crisp highs—ideal for the crushing riffs and searing solos Hammett is known for. Finished in a deep black, the body is adorned with a striking metallic silver spiderweb graphic that pays homage to the original 1991 model. The iconic skull-and-spider inlays on the fretboard further enhance its aggressive aesthetic, ensuring this guitar stands out on any stage. The classic single-cutaway design offers effortless upper-fret access, making high-speed solos and intricate lead work a breeze. With its bold visuals and premium construction, the KH-3 Spider is built for players who demand both style and substance.

Extra-Thin 3-Piece Maple Neck Built for Speed

Designed for high-speed performance, the KH-3 Spider features a 3-piece maple neck with ESP's extra-thin U profile, allowing for lightning-fast runs and effortless fretting. The smooth Macassar ebony fretboard enhances note definition and sustain, making it perfect for articulate solos and heavy riffing. Its 24.75" scale length provides a familiar playing feel, while 24 extra-jumbo frets ensure total control over bends and vibrato. With its sleek feel and 12" fingerboard radius, this neck offers the perfect balance between comfort and precision, whether you're chugging on the low strings or shredding up high. Engineered for speed and stability, this neck is a true shredder's dream.

EMG Bone Breaker Pickups for Aggressive Tone

Powering the KH-3 Spider's ferocious sound are Kirk Hammett's signature EMG Bone Breaker pickups, designed to deliver crushing distortion while retaining pristine clarity. The Bone Breaker neck pickup offers a smooth, articulate tone with a warm midrange, while the bridge pickup delivers searing, high-output aggression perfect for heavy riffing. A three-way toggle switch allows for quick pickup selection, while push-pull volume and tone controls offer further tonal sculpting. Whether you're dialing in the thick, saturated sustain of Hammett's legendary leads or tight, percussive rhythm tones, the KH-3 Spider delivers an uncompromising sonic assault.

Floyd Rose Tremolo and Premium Hardware

Built for high-performance reliability, the KH-3 Spider is equipped with a Floyd Rose 1000 Series locking tremolo, providing exceptional tuning stability even during extreme dive bombs and aggressive vibrato. The locking nut ensures rock-solid intonation, so you can push the tremolo to its limits without worry. Grover tuners add extra tuning precision, while black hardware complements the guitar's sinister aesthetic. Whether you're executing high-gain solos or pummeling rhythm work, this guitar is crafted to withstand the rigors of the stage and studio alike, making it a must-have for serious players.
