The B.C. Rich Gunslinger Legacy USA is a triumphant return of one of the most coveted shred machines from the golden age of metal guitar. Originally designed by the legendary Dan Lawrence in the 1980s, this USA-made ax faithfully recreates the Gunslinger's iconic style and tone while adding modern refinements for today's discerning shredders.
Bolt-On Alder Body Fuels Sustain and Resonance
At the heart of the Gunslinger Legacy is a bolt-on alder body with a stunning bright finish. Alder's balanced tone and resonant sustain make it a go-to for high-gain playing styles. The bolt-on maple neck provides a stable backbone for the instrument while contributing a bright, articulate voice that slices through even the densest mixes.
Shredzilla Neck Profile and Jumbo Frets Enhance Playability
Shredders will feel right at home on the Gunslinger Legacy's performance-oriented maple neck. The slim Shredzilla profile and 14" fingerboard radius facilitate rapid position shifts and wide bends. Extra-jumbo frets make it easy to articulate every note with pristine intonation. The reverse 6-inline headstock and Grover locking tuners provide impeccable tuning stability through your most intense shred sessions.
Single DiMarzio Super Distortion Delivers Searing Overdrive
To recreate the Gunslinger's signature tone, B.C. Rich spec'd a single DiMarzio Super Distortion humbucker in the bridge position. With its ceramic magnets and dual-resonant coils, this pickup captures the perfect blend of warmth and searing overdrive. You'll have more than enough power on tap to drive your amp into thick, harmonically-rich distortion for searing leads and power-driven rhythms.
Floyd Rose Original Unlocks Whammy Mayhem
The Floyd Rose Original double-locking tremolo is a key component of the Gunslinger's signature vibe. Its finely tuned mechanics provide ultrastable tuning, even when executing dramatic pitch shifts and extreme dive bombs. With the Floyd's surgical precision, you can unleash a torrent of whammy tricks, artificial harmonics and other sonic mayhem without ever losing your tuning.
