The Cordoba C12 SP classical guitar fuses traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design. It features a solid European spruce top and Indian rosewood back and sides, delivering a warm, balanced tone with crisp highs and rich lows. The C12 SP's pearloid rosette and maple wedge are inspired by 1920s designs, while its raised fingerboard and adjustable truss rod provide comfortable access to upper frets and customizable action. For musicians seeking a handmade classical guitar with vintage style and modern versatility, the Cordoba C12 SP is an ideal choice.
Solid Wood Construction Produces Rich, Resonant Sound
The C12 SP's solid spruce top and rosewood back and sides enable the guitar to produce a full, resonant tone with clear highs, warm mids and robust lows. The spruce top is lightweight and responsive, providing an ideal balance of warmth and articulation. The rosewood back and sides add depth, richness and projection. Together, these tonewoods result in a beautifully balanced sound suitable for a variety of musical styles.
Vintage Inspired Design with Contemporary Playability
While the C12 SP's pearloid rosette and maple wedge are inspired by 1920s classical guitar designs, its raised fingerboard and adjustable truss rod provide modern playability. The raised fingerboard gives players comfortable access to higher frets, enabling advanced soloing techniques. The truss rod allows for precise neck relief adjustments, ensuring optimal string height and action. These features make the C12 SP an excellent choice for musicians at all skill levels.
Premium Components for Enhanced Performance
In addition to its solid wood construction and comfortable neck, the C12 SP includes premium components that enhance its tone, playability and reliability. It has gold classical guitar tuners for precise and stable tuning, as well as a nut and saddle made of bone, a natural material that produces a warm, resonant tone. An included Cordoba humidified archtop case protects the guitar from changes in humidity that can impact its sound and structural integrity.
