The Cordoba Dolce 7/8-size acoustic nylon-string classical guitar is slightly smaller than a standard guitar at 7/8 size with a 24.8" scale length, making the Dolce an ideal choice for anyone seeking an easy-playing, lightweight instrument. Built using traditional Spanish fan bracing and premium tonewoods like solid Canadian cedar and mahogany, this guitar produces a full, resonant sound brimming with rich overtones. Its 50 mm (1.97") nut width and comfortable neck profile make the Dolce accessible even to players with smaller hands. For an affordable, great-sounding classical guitar in a size suited to developing musicians, look no further than the Córdoba Dolce 7/8.

Premium Tonewoods Provide Exceptional Tone

The Dolce's solid cedar top and mahogany back and sides are carefully selected and paired to maximize acoustic potential. Cedar is a popular choice for classical guitars thanks to its warmth, sensitivity and complex overtones. When combined with mahogany, known for its clarity and focus, the result is a tone that is articulate yet lyrical. These premium tonewoods give the Dolce a voice that belies its smaller size and beginner-friendly price.

Traditional Build Techniques Deliver Authentic Sound

Córdoba is dedicated to crafting classical guitars using time-honored Spanish techniques and the Dolce is no exception. Its solid cedar top features traditional fan bracing, with wooden struts arranged in a fan-like pattern to provide structural support while allowing the top to vibrate freely. The Dolce's mahogany back and sides are also joined using traditional Spanish heel construction, with the neck integrated into the body for optimal resonance. These traditional build techniques are key to the Dolce's authentic classical acoustic tone.

Ideal Size and Playability for Developing Musicians

At 7/8 size with a shorter 24.8" scale length, the Dolce is perfectly suited for beginners and students. Its smaller size makes it comfortable to hold and play, even for younger musicians and those with smaller hands. The Dolce's nut width of 1.88" is also more compact than a standard classical guitar, providing ample finger space for complex chords and barre shapes. Whether you're a new player or an experienced guitarist seeking a portable, easy-playing instrument, the Dolce's smaller size and uncompromising tone make it a natural choice.
