Premium Design Embodies Rock Spirit

The Cleaver Tele's alder body features a Dakota Red gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish and mint green pickguard for a stylish rock look. Details like the skirted control knobs, white pearloid block inlays and Fender "F" stamped tuners demonstrate the high quality components and craftsmanship. A vintage-style hardshell case with Chris Shiflett's signature protects your investment while displaying the included certificate of authenticity.

Comfortable Maple Neck Inspires Fluid Playing

The Cleaver Tele's bolt-on maple neck has a profile and rosewood fingerboard that feel familiar and fast. The satin finish allows your hand to glide smoothly up and down the neck as you play. 21 medium jumbo frets provide ample space for wide bends and vibrato. You'll find this Tele extremely playable whether you're riffing rowdy rock rhythms or wailing searing solos. The vintage-style tuners, bone nut and bent steel bridge saddles complete the authentic Fender vibe.

Dual P-90 Pickups Provide Legendary Tone

The Cleaver Tele gets its name from the dual P-90 pickups designed by Chris Shiflett to capture his signature tone. More articulate than traditional single-coils yet warmer than humbuckers, these noiseless P-90s produce a sound that's perfect for rock. You'll get punchy lows, detailed mids and airy highs that cut through with clarity and attitude. A 3-way toggle switch lets you choose between the bridge pickup, neck pickup or a combination of both for a range of tones from growling to silky smooth.

Built to Rock for a Lifetime

Like all Fender electric guitars, the Chris Shiflett Cleaver Telecaster Deluxe is built to high standards with premium components for lifelong performance. Its solid alder body and maple neck provide stability and sustain. The gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish protects the wood while allowing it to breathe. All hardware including the bridge, tuners and frets are designed for rock-solid stability. When you buy the Cleaver Tele Deluxe, you're getting a professional-grade instrument ready to rock show after show.
