Experience the sweet, resonant tone of the Gold Tone PBS-D Paul Beard Signature Series squareneck deluxe resonator guitar. Designed in collaboration with resonator guitar master Paul Beard, this striking instrument gives you his signature sound and playability. The curly maple body and neck provide a rigid base for projecting the tones from the open-back resonator cone. Play everything from bluesy slide licks to ringing chords—the PBS-D handles it all.

Resonator Cone Crafts Classic Tone

At the heart of the PBS-D's sound is a genuine Paul Beard resonator cone handcrafted in the USA. This sculpted metal cone amplifies the tones of the strings and transfers that sound to the curly maple body. The result is a ringing, metallic timbre perfect for slide guitar and Delta blues. Experience the resonator tone that has endured for decades.

Premium Woods Provide Rigid Construction

The curly maple used for the top, back and sides of the PBS-D is a dense, beautifully figured wood that provides an ideal surface for projecting tone. The hard rock maple neck also delivers stability and sustain. An ebony fingerboard offers a smooth playing feel, while the maple binding adds an elegant aesthetic touch. This deluxe tonewood construction gives the PBS-D a lifetime of musicality.

Play Comfortably with a Square Neck

The PBS-D features a square neck shape tailored for slide and resonator playing comfort. The wide, flat neck gives you ample room for fretting chords and single-note lines. The action also makes it easy to glide over all 19 nickel frets. If you love the tone of a resonator guitar but find traditional necks difficult, the PBS-D's square neck may be the answer. Protect your investment with an included hardshell case.
