The Ibanez Andy Timmons Signature electric guitar gives you access to the tone and playability that has made Andy Timmons an influential guitarist. Built with premium materials selected for their ability to resonate, this guitar produces a dynamic range of sound perfect for rock and jazz. The roasted maple neck and rosewood fingerboard feel smooth under your fingers, allowing complex chords and melodic runs to flow freely. Powered by a trio of DiMarzio pickups, this guitar delivers everything from chimey cleans to tight distortion. For guitarists chasing articulate and versatile tone, the Ibanez Andy Timmons Signature electric guitar is an inspiring instrument.

Resonant Body Produces Balanced Tone

The alder body of this Ibanez guitar provides a balanced tone with emphasized mids, controlled lows and crisp highs. Its open-pore satin finish allows the alder to resonate freely, enriching your tone with complex overtones. The body shape offers comfortable contours, balancing on your leg or hanging by a strap during long practice sessions or performances.

Roasted Maple Neck Enhances Playability

The S-TECH roasted maple neck provides stability and durability, resisting warping under string tension and environmental changes. The roasting process also makes the maple neck resistant to moisture, keeping your guitar in tune through changes in humidity. An oil finish gives the neck a satin feel, similar to a well-played guitar. When you run through chords and scales on this neck, it will feel familiar and fast.

DiMarzio Pickups Deliver Versatile Tone

The three DiMarzio pickups selected for this guitar offer a range of tones suitable for rock, blues, jazz and fusion. A DiMarzio The Cruiser in the neck position produces a warm, vocal sound with enhanced midrange. The middle DiMarzio The Cruiser pickup also provides a single-coil tone for quacky positions two and four. A DiMarzio AT-1 in the bridge delivers clarity and focus, balancing the warmer neck pickup. With a five-way blade switch, you can access these pickups individually or blend them together.

Premium Appointments for Playing Comfort

To ensure playing comfort, Ibanez included premium appointments on this guitar. An oil-impregnated bone nut provides dense tone and stable tuning. Jumbo frets with Prestige fret edge treatment feel smooth under your fingers, allowing complex chords and runs to ring clearly. Gotoh Magnum Lock machine heads keep your guitar in tune through dynamic playing. A Wilkinson tremolo offers a vintage feel for expressive pitch-shifting effects. For a signature guitar focused on playability and tone, the Ibanez Andy Timmons Signature electric guitar delivers.
