The KORG Multi/Poly virtual analog synthesizer delivers a vast array of sounds and experimental modular features in a compact, hands-on package. Inspired by the legendary KORG Mono/Poly synthesizer, the Multi/Poly is the first instrument to use KORG's cutting-edge analog modeling technology, allowing you to create unique hardware mashups with classic East Coast, West Coast and wavetable oscillators paired with newly modeled filters.

Authentic Analog Modeling

The Multi/Poly's redesigned oscillators and filters utilize KORG's latest analog modeling technology to recreate the character of vintage analog synths. Each of the 60 voices features a Virtual Voice Card with modeled components like oscillators, filters, envelopes and LFOs that introduce natural variations, resulting in rich, timbrally complex sounds. You can dial in as much or as little of these analog-inspired inconsistencies as you like for each patch.

Flexible Layering and Round-Robin Triggering

The Multi/Poly provides four Layers, each containing a Program, allowing you to create layered sounds, velocity splits and keyboard splits. Like the original Mono/Poly, the Multi/Poly also features Layer Rotate for cycling through Programs—you can trigger one, two or three Programs with each key press in repeating or random order for evolving sonic textures, especially when used with the arpeggiator.

Intuitive Control and Customization

With its array of hands-on controls, the Multi/Poly invites you to explore. Dedicated knobs provide direct access to oscillators, filters, envelopes, LFOs and effects, allowing you to shape your sound in real time. Four programmable Mod Knobs can be customized for any patch to adjust multiple parameters simultaneously. Use the Hold button to sustain notes or chords as you manipulate controls or play other gear.

Advanced Modulation and Sequencing

Nearly all of the Multi/Poly's front-panel controls and on-screen parameters can be modulated, providing over 5,500 potential modulation destinations. Eight Mod Processors let you transform modulation signals using quantization, smoothing, curvature and more. Motion Sequencing 2.0, an evolution of the wavestate's Wave Sequencing, provides per-step control over timing, pitch, shape and step values for creating complex modulated phrases.
