The Audeze LCD-2 Classic open-back headphones transport you back to the original sound that made Audeze famous. Their planar magnetic drivers deliver a warm, energetic tone with a wide frequency range and extremely low distortion for an immersive listening experience. The lightweight design, premium materials and plush ear pads keep you comfortable for hours of enjoyment. Once you hear your music through the LCD-2 Classic, you'll never want to take them off.
Planar Magnetic Drivers Recreate Classic Audeze Sound
Audeze is renowned for their planar magnetic technology that provides a transparent, highly detailed sound with tight bass and smooth highs. The LCD-2 Classic features 106 mm planar magnetic drivers without Fazor elements to reproduce the original Audeze house sound from over a decade ago. Their thin diaphragms move with extreme precision to deliver clarity, realism and musicality across a wide frequency range from 10Hz–50kHz with distortion below 0.1%. You'll rediscover your music collection with the open, dimensional quality of these legendary drivers.
Premium Design Offers All-Day Comfort
While the LCD-2 Classic pays homage to the past, its design is thoroughly modern. Composite glass-infused nylon rings connect the ear cups to reduce weight without sacrificing durability. The suspension-style headband distributes weight evenly with its leather-free strap for comfort during long listening sessions. Oversized ear pads provide an ergonomic fit and seal out ambient noise so you can focus on the detailed, holographic soundstage. The elegant matte black finish gives the LCD-2 Classic a sleek, professional look.
Find the Perfect Sound With User-Friendly Features
The LCD-2 Classic makes dialing in your ideal tone simple. Its 70 ohm impedance works with a wide range of amplifiers and its high 101dB sensitivity provides ample volume. The open-back design creates an expansive soundstage with a natural sense of depth and space. Included single-ended and balanced cables let you choose between connections. Easily drive the LCD-2 Classic with a portable DAC/amp or high-powered desktop unit. However you choose to power them, the LCD-2 Classic rewards you with musical bliss.
