This microphone comes with two versions. The 4099 CORE Mic, Loud SPL (red marking on gooseneck) is used to close-mike most types of instruments. The 4099 CORE Mic, Extreme SPL (yellow marking on gooseneck) is used to close-mike extremely loud instruments, such as drums and some brass. Piano mounting clips are also included.
