The DPA ST2015 small-diaphragm condenser microphones deliver pristine audio capture in a rugged, road-ready stereo pair. Designed for miking pianos, percussion and drum overheads, the wide cardioid polar pattern picks up nuanced resonance across even the largest instruments. Thick, reinforced microphone bodies withstand the roughest stage abuse, while integrated XLR connectors and high-quality holders provide reliable connectivity. With a natural, transparent sound and impressive transient response, these small-diaphragm condensers convey the true essence of your music. The included windscreens allow outdoor recording and the protective zip case keeps your mics safe in transport.
Wide Cardioid Pattern Captures More Natural Room Sound
The DPA ST2015 small-diaphragm condenser microphones have a wider cardioid pattern than comparable pencil mics, resulting in a more open, natural tone. Their wider pickup allows for more room ambience, critical for blending piano and classical percussion. The matched stereo pair provides phase-accurate imaging for lifelike reproduction. Position them overhead a drum set to capture crisp cymbal detail and the full, punchy spread of toms and kicks.
Rugged Construction Handles Live Abuse
With their thick, reinforced microphone bodies and integrated XLR connectors, the DPA ST2015 condensers are built tough for live sound. The high-quality mic holders securely mount each mic, while the ergonomic shape fits comfortably in your hand. Designed for demanding tour schedules and outdoor festivals, these small-diaphragm mics withstand vibration, drops and extreme weather. The DPA ST2015s have an impressive 153dB max SPL, delivering clear, detailed audio even at blistering volumes.
Pristine Transient Response
From the subtle ring of a triangle to the crashing cymbals of a rock drummer, the DPA ST2015 accurately captures transients. The natural, uncolored sound provides transparent miking of pianos, vibraphones, mallet percussion and acoustic instruments. With a wide 40Hz to 18kHz effective range, these small-diaphragm condensers convey the nuance and richness of music. The excellent off-axis rejection focuses in on the sound source, reducing bleed from other instruments.
Complete Portable Miking Solution
With included windscreens and protective zip case, this DPA stereo pair bundle provides everything you need for portable recording and live sound. The foam windscreens allow outdoor miking in winds up to 20 mph. The rugged, reliable case protects the mics in transit and storage. Perfect for touring musicians, mobile recording rigs and videography, these essential accessories complete the package.
