Polyphonic Step Sequencer and Arpeggiator Add Rhythm
The polyphonic step sequencer in the Prophet-6 allows you to create up to 64-step sequences with up to six notes per step. You can make polyphonic sequences with rests and sync the sequencer to an external MIDI clock. The arpeggiator can also be synced to an external MIDI clock. Use these tools to create pulsing rhythmic textures and ostinato patterns.
Perform and Program Easily
With a knob-per-function panel, the Prophet-6 is intuitive to program and perform with instantly. There are 500 factory programs and room for 500 of your own user programs. By toggling off the Preset button, you can enable live panel mode where the sound responds directly to the positions of the knobs and switches.
