The Zildjian K Custom Dark cymbal pack provides drummers with a selection of dark, melodious cymbals that offer richness, warmth and musicality. Comprised of 14" hi-hats, a 16" crash, 18" crash and 20" ride cymbal, this cymbal pack produces tones that are full yet cutting, with a fast decay—ideal for jazz, country, and world music styles. Overhammering gives these traditionally finished cymbals a slightly trashy quality, adding character to your playing. For drummers seeking cymbals with depth and nuance, the Zildjian K Custom Dark cymbal pack delivers.
14" Hi-Hats Provide a Solid Foundation
The 14" hi-hats in this Zildjian K Custom Dark cymbal pack offer drummers a solid rhythmic foundation with a quick, articulate response. Closed, they produce a tight, sloshy "chick," while open they yield a warm wash with complex high-end. Controllable and versatile, these hi-hats complement a wide range of musical genres.
16" and 18" Crashes Offer a Range of Accents
This Zildjian K Custom Dark cymbal pack provides drummers with 16" and 18" crash cymbals that provide a spectrum of accents, from cutting to full and splashy. The 16" crash cuts through mixes with a fast, trashy response, while the included free 18" crash opens up to a wider, more expansive crash with richer overtones. Together, these crashes offer drummers highly musical options for punctuating phrases.
20" Ride Cymbal Sings with Complexity
The 20" ride cymbal in this Zildjian K Custom Dark cymbal pack provides drummers with a musical ride that opens up when played, yielding a wash of warm, shimmering overtones with a hint of trashiness. Its large size provides ample real estate for riding patterns, bell accents, and crash/rides. Sensitive and articulate, this complex ride cymbal inspires creative playing.
