The Schecter Avenger FR-S Apocalypse is a high-performance instrument geared for modern metal players. The body is made of swamp ash; the 5-ply maple/padauk neck is set-in for maximum resonance. A compound radius ebony fretboard has 24 extra jumbo stainless steel frets for complete comfort when executing fast passages.Armed with a Schecter USA Apocalypse bridge humbucker, this guitar delivers balanced yet aggressive tones with a crushing mid-range and a tight, focused response. A Sustainiac neck pickup offers intense and infinite sustain. Toggle the effect off and on, or shape the sustain with the 3-way Fundamental/Mix/Harmonic mode switch.
Additional features include the Schecter-exclusive Floyd Rose 1500 series bridge with stainless steel appointments and push-in arm, Grover tuners and Luminlay glow-in-the-dark side dot markers.
