The gold sputtered, single backplate, large diaphragm WA-47-B-50v capsule, is a premium reproduction of the vintage K47 capsule to bring you that detailed, authentic ’47 FET sonic character. This capsule produces a wide frequency response of 20Hz–19kHz with a rise in the midrange and a smooth high-end for an added depth. To further supply a rounded and smooth sound, is the TAB (AMI) transformer, made in the USA but with German laminations that help to capture a true analog sound with plenty of coloration. The Fairchild FET transistors along with the WIMA and polystyrene capacitors that this mic has gives a strong signal conversion for excellent reliability.
